Cutting carbon emissions per person through route planning

Across a nationally dispersed field organisation, route plans, planned versus actual visits, vehicle and fuel use and field expenses were brought into a single management view. Routes were recalculated regularly according to field conditions. Visit volume held while unnecessary travel fell: over five months, carbon emissions per person dropped 12% against the same months of the previous year, avoiding 66 tonnes of emissions in total.

Managing the effectiveness of visits

Over four months, more than 40,000 visit records across 24,000+ points were analysed. Field staff who directed at least half of their visits to high-potential points generated roughly 1.5 times more sales per person. Potential distribution was recalculated each period and fed into route plans; results improved without increasing the number of visits.

Turning promoter commitment into sales performance

Promoter performance, which directly shapes in-store results, was taken beyond conventional promotion metrics. A structured survey measured needs, motivation and working condition priorities. Performance was scored out of five across four separate assessment methods; the critical talent segment scoring 4.0 and above was identified before avoidable attrition occurred, and targeted improvements were made to working conditions.

Building a brand's Turkish channel from scratch

Distribution was taken on and the brand's Turkish sales channel was built from the ground up. Independent dealer and marketplace channels opened simultaneously. With field teams and display support, brand awareness rose quickly; within the first six months the brand reached 1,850 active points of sale across 62 provinces.
